The Passion of Music

Simply put, music is one of Chuck's passions. Upon first hearing the Beatles "I Want To Hold Your Hand" he was hooked. Chuck will be hosting the"OPEN MIC" every 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30pm at Prarie Krafts Brewery in Buffalo Grove except in April it'll be one week later the 24th. The trio Liddle Fiddle Trio returns to Copper Fiddle Distillery in Lake Zurich at 7:30pm on Saturday April 22nd. Chuck and his buddys Dean Milano, Chris Minardi & Kelly Lawson will be at  Mac's On Slade in Palatine on Sundy April 23rd at 5pm to perform a 45 minute set at a fundraiser for native American vets.


Chuck and his partner Al "Vac" Vaccarello make up the acoustic duo BLUE EYED LEO. Performing on six and twelve string guitars as well as keyboard and a little harmonica now and again, they entertain the crowd with "classic rock" standards from such renowned artists as the Beatles, Crosby Stills & Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, America and a host of others including current and more recent artists such as Jack Johnson, Zac Brown Band and Snow Patrol to name but a few. In April the duo rocks Arlington Ale House on Sunday the 9th. and will be headling for the one year anniversary party at Prairie Krafts Brewing Company on Saturday the 15th 3-7pm.

Covering several artist primarily from the '60's and 70's Get Back Chicago has been known for performing an all Beatles set upon request and had the honor of doing so in the company of Louise Harrison (George Harrison's sister who established the noprofit HELP KEEP MUSIC ALIVE). In 2017 the band is playing out at a handful of private events and has no public events on their current calander.


Chuck's true art is songwriting. Having a strong appetite for poetic verse he's written at least 300 poems of which about half have been put to music. Yep, driven by the vocals of John, Paul, George & Ringo he's always on the hunt for strong melodies and powerful soul-searing harmonies. Stay tuned as there's something brewing for January 2017.
