The Passion of Music

Simply put, music is one of Chuck's passions. Upon first hearing the Beatles "I Want To Hold Your Hand" he was hooked. Chuck will be hosting the"OPEN MIC" every 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30pm at Prarie Krafts Brewery in Buffalo Grove. Chuck and his buddys Dean Milano, Chris Minardi, & James Costanza will be at Carlucci's Restaurant & Bar in Downers Grove on Thursday July 13 and at Mullens Bar & Grill in Lisle on Saturday August 5th. Finally on Friday August 18th, the quartet performs at Copper Fiddle Distillery in Lake Zurich 7:30 - 10:30pm.


Chuck and his partner Al "Vac" Vaccarello make up the acoustic duo BLUE EYED LEO. Performing on six and twelve string guitars as well as keyboard and a little harmonica now and again, they entertain the crowd with "classic rock" standards from such renowned artists as the Beatles, Crosby Stills & Nash, Simon & Garfunkel, America and a host of others including current and more recent artists such as Jack Johnson, Zac Brown Band and Snow Patrol to name but a few. The duos nex public performance will be at the Lake Zurich Farmers Market on Friday Jene 30 3:30 - 7:00pm. In July the duo will be at Countryside Saloon in Des Plaines on Friday the 14th 9pm - 1am, Fatmans Gurnee on Thursday the 20th 7-10pm, Boulder Ridge Country Club in Lake In The Hills on Friday the 21st 6-10pm, and on Saturday the 22 the duo performs at a private 50th birthday party in Des Plaines.

Covering several artist primarily from the '60's and 70's Get Back Chicago has been known for performing an all Beatles set upon request and had the honor of doing so in the company of Louise Harrison (George Harrison's sister who established the noprofit HELP KEEP MUSIC ALIVE). Following a private event performance in Libertyville, IL on Sunday May 28, 2017 the band will publicly appear at Copper Fiddle Distillery 532 W State Rte 22 #110, Lake Zurich, IL starting at 7:30pm on Saturday June 24, 2017 and again on "Turkey Eve" Wednesday November 22, 2017. In July the band performs at SandyFest, a local event held annually in Buffalo Grove on the 23rd. and on August 27th they perform at a fundraiser for Senator Dan McConchie at Paulus Park in Lake Zurich from 1-4pm


Chuck's true art is songwriting. Having a strong appetite for poetic verse he's written at least 300 poems of which about half have been put to music. Yep, driven by the vocals of John, Paul, George & Ringo he's always on the hunt for strong melodies and powerful soul-searing harmonies. Stay tuned as there's something brewing for January 2017.
